PRP for Skin

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses a concentration of platelets from your own blood, prepared and reintroduced into the skin, with the aim of supporting the skin's natural repair processes and improving skin texture over time.

HOW IT WORKS A small blood sample is taken and processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied to the treatment area. PRP can be used on the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

WHAT TO EXPECT Most patients experience some redness, swelling, or minor bruising at the treatment site. This typically settles within 24–72 hours, though recovery time can vary between individuals. Results build gradually and are not guaranteed — how many sessions are recommended, and when you might expect to see changes, will be discussed at your consultation.
POTENTIAL RISKS As with any skin needling or injection-based treatment, potential risks include infection, allergic reaction, lumps or nodules, bruising, and uneven results. Your suitability for treatment, and a full discussion of risks specific to you, will be covered during your consultation.

AFTERCARE Aftercare guidance will be provided by Lisa following your treatment, and may include avoiding makeup, sun exposure, or strenuous exercise for a period of time. Specific aftercare instructions will be tailored to your treatment.

A thorough consultation is required before treatment to determine suitability.
